Niagara Falls

We went here for 3 days and 2 nights and it was wonderful, saw this amazing sight, had dinner at a beautiful restaurant and went over to the American side to see it from there which was interesting crossing the border, they also have a weird strip that is all for the tourists. The sound of the rushing water was amazing.

Toronto CN Tower

These are the views from the worlds tallest tower at the top you are up 147 floors, nearly 3 times higher than Sydney centerpoint tower.

March Break

We have just gone back to school after 8 days off and it was lovely to get a break, I feel like I have landed in Canada and been going like a crazy person for 3 months so it was good to have a break. We had Greg (my brother) here for 5 days which was wonderful and we went to Toronto and Niagara Falls both were amazing spectacles to see, with the weather so nice it was great to be able to stroll around outside its one thing I really miss, you don't go outside much to walk around, people here actually take Vit D tablets during the winter.
We then had more Aussie friends for 4 days after Greg left, Mal and Deb from Vancouver island on an exchange from Grafton. It was also great to see them and we had some wonderful parties with the local Wagner Lake crowd that they really enjoyed. Then this week we welcomed Candy and Mike Chapman from Balcolyn to stay with us for 2 days, they brought some lovely Ice Wine for us and saw some wonderful sites around the area.
All the locals head south to the sun in Florida and Mexico for the March Break its really quite funny and when they get back they are burnt brown or bright red, and they then wear T-Shirts and shorts to show of their tans when the weather is still only 5 degrees, pretty funny.
Anyway we are all over our sicknesses which is good and we are back at school, Kevin now has a full time job at a local store and we are trying to sell the Bambi products in Canada. I am busy at school again and the kids have lots of homework to do. I am not looking forward to this stint of school we have 13 weeks till the summer hols, OMG that would never happen in Aus, it will be hard. 2 lots of reports to do and 2 long weekends we will really need the 9 weeks off we get in July August. Hope all is well, enjoy the photos.

March Warm up

Hi Everyone,
We have a very busy March and lots of late winter sickness which has been a huge drag for everyone. We all got the dreaded cold that has been hanging around the schools for ages and we all went down pretty bad with it. We took Steph for an appointment at the Toronto Sick Kids Hospital and the Docs there decided she neede a whole new drug regime which has involved weekly injections of Methotrexate which can make her sick as well as many other things so we have been dealing with that. She has beeen a trooper as usual about it and she has felt better the Doc we see is Aussie and knows our Aussie Doc in Sydney which is very encouraging.
We also have had lots of school work to do I have had progress reports to get done and lots of marking there is so much to do here, everything you hand out to the students you have to mark and they expect you to, so they have about 50 assessment marks on their reports, its crazy. Anyway we have been pretty busy with school and Wagner Lake socialising.
The weather has now warmed up to balmy 5 - 12 degree days, which doesn't seem very warm to you guys but its actually a bit like our warmer winter days so its very weird, and the most of the snow has melted its particularly ugly around at the moment all brown and dead. Apparently the ground doesn't defrost till mid May which seems so far away its very strange.
Hope everyone is well
