Day 4 - We leave Winnepeg, and head west into the prairies our destination Swift Current 800kms west of Winnepeg. The roads are amazing double lane straight highway and we stay on this road through 3 Provinces.
What do we see today? Flat, straight road and many, many miles of farmland. Out here they farm Canola, Barley, Flax and Wheat. We go through towns like Moose Jaw and see salt mines and wind farms

We arrive into Swift Current the weather is finally friendly and we are able to camp much to Stephs delight we have really been rather lax with her and have only just realised we have never taken her camping. She is really enjoying it. The kids get to have a swim in the pool and Kevin and I meet some nice people from Nanaimo to have a beer with.

Scott is always keen to put the tent up on our travels too but sometimes it is too cold, too late, too tired or need internet access!!
