Motoring through the Canadian wilderness.

Day 5 - Swift Current to Carbon an easy drive of 470km to stay with Kevins cousins Sandy and her husband Wayne.
We have a pretty wet start to the day as it decides to pour down rain as we are rising for the morning and so we quickly get the tents packed up and head out in the rain. We drive out of the big storm quite quickly after breakfast at McDonalds and drive west again into the prairies.
Along the way today we see more farms and very large grain silo elevators. We go through a town called Medicine Hat and we see the Worlds Largest Teepee.
Then we finally arrive into Drumheller the Dinosaur capital of the world and as we drive down into the badlands we are amazed at the beautiful colours of the canyon walls after all the flat green fields. We then drive to Sandy and Waynes to rest for the evening over a few quiet ales.
